Okay, today we only have a short trip from the Temple Grafton layby in to the Leisure & Visitor Centre car park in Stratford-upon-Avon.
On the way, we finally got a shot of the Stag, an inn with a history on the A46 coming in to Stratford.
We got to the carpark, and found that they have improved the parking -- last time you could only pay by the hour (£1 per hour) or for 24 hours (£10). They have now added a 72-hour option for £20. Nice cheap and secure parking!
Our plan is to spend time in the van writing (and watching movies), going in to Maccas (a short walk) to get some internet, going into the Picturehouse for a couple of movies -- Spectre seems to be calling -- and going to the Royal Shakespeare Company if there is any performance that interests us. We may even revisit our friends at the Shakespeare Centre. We may remain here for quite a few days, to rest, recover, and catch up! What better spot for a lazy few days than Stratford! Warren wandered across to the RSC tonight, and was able to lay his hands on the DVDs of Love's Labours Lost and Love's Labours Won, the two plays we went to just last year. We're looking forward to a reprise!
Distance driven — today, 6 miles ( 10 km ); to date, 30696 miles ( 49,401 km )
