Gertie misbehaved today. Well, to give her her due, it wasn't exactly her fault. When we turned the key to leave the parking area — nothing! Flat battery. We phoned the RAC, who were there within 15 minutes. A jump start, and all was well. But then the mechanic decided to do a full battery test — and IT failed. So, sorry Gertie, you were not to blame! Luckily the battery was still under warranty from the RAC (who replaced the last one), so a new battery and Gertie was all chirpy again!
We kept on driving into Bath. The scenery was nothing to write home about — not that it wasn't pretty, just that we could barely see it — the fog was still covering the country.
So we found the Bath Marina & Caravan Park and settled in for the afternoon — time to relax, do a bit of writing and editing of photos, and plan what we want to do in Bath tomorrow.
Distance driven — today, 76 miles ( 128 km ); to date, 30,594 miles ( 49,242 km )
The Bath Georgian crescents are great aren't they? Love ya, cathy
