10 Nov 2015. <GB-ENG> Stratford-upon-Avon, Warw —
Today again the morning was Warren in Macca's, blogging, and Suzie in the van, writing.

But in the afternoon we went back to the Picturehouse, this time to see an encore screening of a Benedict Cumberbatch performing Hamlet at the Barbican Theatre in London, a performance that was screened live in high definition to about 2000 theatres round the world on 15 October, a National Theatre Live broadcast. This was a stunning performance! When we get home, we must check whether these broadcasts come to Brisbane — we might well become regulars!

A couple of reviews of the performance are here, from the Telegraph, from the Guardian, and another from the Guardian.

Then another night in!

Distance driven — today, nil; to date, 30696 miles ( 49,401 km )

  1. Read the Guardian blurbs-boy they varied, but through it all it seems he gave a good performance in the role. The Times was NAv. due to error. You do have fun. Lotsa love, Cathy
