The day a little like the last two, but wetter. Warren still not 100%, so we decided to have a day of paperwork, blogging, knitting — and TV watching — in the van.
We ultimately vegged out completely, having hot soup and chocolate as we listened to the rain beating on the van's roof. We watched a few episodes — read that as 'eight episodes'! — of The West Wing — Cathy, if you can stand American politics, you would love it!
Not a lost day, but one of recuperation, restoring our energy to be able to do Amsterdam justice — and a good use of a really wet day!
Distance driven — today, 26 miles ( 42 km ); to date, 29,021 miles ( 46,705 km )
Actually watched some of this but it clashed with something someone else wanted to watch so lost as i did CSI (original,l which I also liked). Willi and Hans got my email and were in full agreement so that was good- Will is NOT well but she's battling on. I used to love Madam President which they cut because it was too close to the bone for some-the idea of a female PRESIDENT, I just hope they don't get Donald Trump.I rather think the 3rd Bush would be a bettter idea, if Hilary is not successful. I think Obama has done them a lot of good. I hope that when we become a republic that we don't spend millions getting candidates elected because if we have to, I am not voting any more. The money they spend could be spent on the neediest and the best projects=that would get my vote. I'm just up Pnadol and teaing - ran into David in the kitchen doing the same. We sleep together but both are so quiet in the bedroom we never know who is in the bed and who not.Older age sure has its torments. Am off to a lecture (despite the Supers) on 'Managing difficult people' to day to see what it is I do to become the difficult person they say I am. Well, have fun. Hope Warren is bette and you recuperated from your long walk. Have you thought about rubber boots for the wet days? Love C..
