12 Apr 2015. <HR> Opuzen, & Vrpolje —

We left our stop with the blooming
lavenderrosemary (thanks Cathy) and vineyards and continued northwards, stopping on the way at Caffe Bar Strada, where we had been before, for coffee and internet time.

We passed quite a few orange and local produce stalls on the side of the road, and canal-side towns opposite the highway.

After passing more wonderful views — and cloud effects — we ended up in our truck stop Odormište Vrpola, on the A1, for the night. As usual, Suzie took advantage of the stop to do a little knitting for charity!

Distance driven — today, 113 miles ( 182 km ); to date, 17,867 miles ( 28,755 km )

  1. It looked more like Rosemary to me, than lavender. Love the hilly strip paddocks and also what was that conglomeration of water things yesterday? Irrigation? Sewerage? What? 'On ya Suzie with the knitting. If you go to Germany or Holland they have beautiful quality wool there- could be pricey, but it knits very smoothly. Sky scape with beams glorious. Aquaduct spectacular. ?Snow on Carpathians??? Suze would love that. Views stunning. Love ya both, CJ
