We called first into a McDonalds in Strassen to catch up with communication with family and friends — at this time, the emails are flying back and forth at a great rate! It took us a while to catch up, but then we directed ourselves to a campsite in Alzingen, a short bus trip from the city centre. We settled in, and decided to have a quiet time today, and go in to the city tomorrow.

The campsite is beautiful, virtually a manicured garden, with flowers, trees in their autumn costume, and a playground with enough young children about to keep it company. Totally delightful, and just what we needed at this time! We didn't get a photo of the main play equipment, because it was always full of children — and their grandparents! — but we did get a shot of the water pump out the front!

The car behaving badly is like our old Toyota Camry which thank God died on us 2 days ago. Buses for us from now on. Love Ya, Cathy
