10 Feb 2015. <PT> Lagos, Barlavento, & Castro Marim, Algarve —
It was raining all night, and showed no sign of letting up, so we made the decision to skip any tourist activities in Lago, and instead to retrace our path to Castro Marim, on the Portuguese side of the border with Spain. The day was wet, dreary — but a lovely day for driving, so that's what we did!

A gardener's work is never done!

... and back at Castro Marim for the night!

Distance driven — today, 92 miles ( 148 km ); to date, 12,754 miles ( 20,526 km )

  1. What fun you can get out of a gloomy day. Fascinating little ethnographies everywhere if one could only stand and stare. Have started to think about superobese preggy women as being in the throes of early organ failure. So the search is interesting. the GIANT program being done in Europe is fascinating. %50 fat due to eating habits and diet choices, 50% due to genetics getting unravelled and retangled I guess. It's interesting. Yet another old fort to see above. and goats as far as one can see. I liked the inference of the bikie's registration no and the old woman crossing in front of him! Love, Cathy
