This morning we found that our grassy knoll was also part of the patch used by a cowherd and his charges — we had a visitation!
We left to drive back to Skopje (Скопје — not that far — about 80km). On the way, we dropped in to a LukOil service station / rest stop for coffee, and found that they had blazingly fast internet. We stayed there for a couple of hours and caught up on blogging, banking, and other networking tasks!

Then, back to Skopje. This time we were making for a camping spot at Ilinden (Илинден) in the outskirts of Skopje — actually, it's the Best Western Hotel there, but it has an associated caraven camping area. Very well set up — and the camping area is sometimes used for other purposes as well, such as on this long weekend, an international dog show. But tonight it was party night in the cocktail gardens, with a band playing great music — one of the older couples was making a good fist of a rather sensuous tango!

And, as a bonus, we had entertainment throughout the night — there is a nightingale (or maybe two) in residence. A most delightful sound!
