Today we took our leave of Kay and Wang.
First however we went in to the local medical clinic, saw the doctor and told her our story. She was able to give us 2 months' private prescriptions for the drugs we need (on the basis of a letter from our local GP), to be filled further down the track when our supplies are running low. We will need to do this on a regular basis to ensure we don't run out of our medications.
Warren went home, and Kay and Susie went on a woodland walk down to near Strome Castle — Susie really needs her daily walk! Then we all got back together at Tullich House to say our goodbyes (for now!)!
Kay was playing golf at 2pm on the local course, so she left, then the travellers drove down to the medical centre to pick up the prescriptions, waving to Kay and her golfing companion on the golf course as we went by.
We then drove out over by now well-known paths, back through Glen Shiel, past Loch Ness, skirting Inverness, out to Ardersier where we knew a very comfortable overnight parking place was waiting for us. (This was by no means out of our way, as we wanted to get towards Elgin to pick up some tourist information, then on through Aberdeenshire, where we had a number of NTS — National Trust of Scotland — sites that interest us.)
Distance driven — today, 117 miles ( 188 km ); to date, 4,948 miles ( 7,962 km )
