Set off for the recommended van dealer. Turned out that they couldn't help us directly, but they pointed us towards a large campervan dealership in Perthshire, between Perth and Dundee. For the record, and in case we lose the address, it is:

We then went in to a Retail Park near Inverness. Did a big shop at Tesco, then Warren went in to Starbucks for a major catch-up on the blog — we were at least a week behind due to internet starvation in the north of Scotland. After about 6½ hours in there, he was able to come out and announce "We're up to date!"
Blogging wasn't all he did, however. A little emailing was in order, particulary to English Heritage, who seem to have stuffed up our membership. Needed to remind them that our cards need to get to Lochcarron by about next Tuesday, or else things might become a little complicated.
After all this, we decided to adjourn to our old site at Ardersier. This time we met up with a couple from Belgium, and another couple of some Asian persuasion. Maybe we could stay in the one place, and let the world come to us!
