Goodbye Cambridge. Not planning any tourist destinations today. We drove down to Melbourn — they can't spell here! — (about 8 miles southwest) to a garden centre that had the CampinGaz cylinders we need for Europe. That done, we went across to Bedford to get some distance towards Gloucester for nest week. Spent a little time at Macca's for facebook and internet time. The days are getting shorter, so if we are in a new area, we need to discover our camping spot before dark — now about 4.30pm. We found a good spot near Clapham, just northwest of Bedford, so settled in for the night.
Distance driven — today, 50 miles ( 81 km ); to date, 9,573 miles ( 15,407 km )
