Another Country Road

On our way. Missed the turnoff for the stone circle, so decided to put it behind us. Drove down to Carlow, where we decided to make it a shop-and-rest day. Parked in the Tesco car park and did a little shopping — mainly for water, and Warren got a pair of comfy slippers for use in the van. Also got a good Irish Road Atlas!

We found a Supermac's — a McDonald's clone — where we did an internet search for garages/dealerships to see to the van problems. Internet was flakey and, although we could get the sites on Google, we couldn't open them up to check on them. But at least we were able to take down a couple of addresses to give us a starting point.

We then went out of Carlow. Laybys are few and far between, but we found one on the N80 about 6km SE of Carlow, about 1km short of Graiguealug. Pulled in for the night.
